“ I went to eat here with a friend and it was lovely. Rosa, our server was sweet, enthusiastic, and informative. Excellent service. Also the pasta was great!!!! My favorite. What's not in the picture is some biscuits and gravy that my friend ordered after. They were freaking delicious. Fresh baked biscuits and what seemed like home made country gravy. Suggestions from a satisfied customer: (1) streamline the amount of "menus" you give the customers. I was handed 4 different pieces of paper to read. Management, please make it easy for your customers to order. 1 main menu and if need be a specials menu would be best. (2) play some good music. Music makes people feel good, and feel good people eat! It also makes the restaurant more inviting. Take a book from johnny casinos they always play dean Martin or something like that. Doent have to be old music, but something nice. Months ago I went there and the manager was playing classic music. COME ON! HAHA. don't scare away your customers:) (3) your cashiers and waiters should be offering pie to customers after each meal and when they check out. This might boost sales! Don't be pushy, but make it sound delicious . (4) the tvs look tacky. Ditch them. Or have a designated are where people can sit and watch likea bar area. (5) reprint and laminate your menus. The resolution on the menus is low at best. The pictures should look sharp and clear. Make them see the food and get your customers mouths watering!!! (5) a manager should at least once visit each active table to check in with guests and make sure everything is satisfactory. This looks good for cocos and makes the customers feel like you care. (6) upsell appetizers!!!!! Make money! (7) get your outdoor sign redone. It looks faded. Come on! Look inviting. I have more suggestions but it's a lot. stay open I love cocos! Don't you dare close this restaurant . ”
“ went for Sunday breakfast, our serve Ed was amazing, We will be going back just to see him, food was standing also ”
“ We were visiting Upland to get some skates from the local skate vendor. When we saw there was a CoCo's in Upland we were elated!! The is no Coco's in Pasadena, or its surrounding cities. We have always loved Coco's, to find one in Upland was a rare find! the service was good & food was so good we even ordered additional food to take home with us for the next day! If you dont mind a 45 min. to 1 hr drive for good food, Coco's is worth the drive!! ”
“ It's a classic diner with all your classic fixings. Service was friendly and restaurant was clean. Plenty of parking in the shared lot. Bathrooms were well kept. Prices are reasonable and you get a good amount of food for your buck ”
“ We Coco's decided to try another place for our lunch. We decided on Coco's. Coco's was my family's favorite for a long time. We used to go to the one in Pasadena on Colorado and Michillinda. Today I had their chicken, avocado bacon cheese sandwich with fries. The sandwich was fresh including the potatoe bread. My honey had their mushroom burger. Everything was delicious. The lady server was very attentive. She kept on filling my ice tea drink. The server was polite, friendly and courteous. I would recommend this place. P.S. they serve prime rib on Fridays after 4 p.m. and weekends from 12 p.m. I am coming back to try their prime rib dinner. ”
“ I'm ashamed I haven't reviewed yet. I did in my head but apparently I stalled at that step. It's Coco's. As a native Angeleno, major nostalgia. Still has the bran muffin, cinnamon roll french toast, smooth as silk coffee, and the delicious Pacific omelet. But the best thing about this place is Ed. He's psychic, superhuman, and I'm pretty sure he lives here because I've been here three separate times and he's always here. In fact, I'm always in his section. Is he the only server? At any rate, he's everything you need and want when you're in the mood for a classic diner experience, and so much more. Even if the food wasn't classic and comforting, I'd say go for Ed. He's a gem. But yeah, the breakfast are solid. Haven't made it for lunch or dinner, but I would bet it's also great. ”
“ That one server, Joseph, deserves a promotion!! He was so nice and friendly to me and my (ex)husband, even though we were finalizing our divorce and things got a bit heated, Joseph was surprisingly able to ease the tension with some witty comments. Did not save our marriage however. 10/10 would come again. :D ”
“ I'm writing this to give kudos to Barbara, who knows her stuff and is a great server. Slices of pie are a good deal, even for this day and age, and Wednesday is free (slice of) pie day. The pie still tastes the same as when I was a kid too. They still got it. ”
